All of us are looking forward to operation football this fall but high school sports as you know are being impacted by covid 19 tonight our jenny run image shows us the detailed plan from the Ihsaa to get student-athletes back in the game safely pack stands cheering fans the hits and hype that are the hallmarks of high school sports, but a lot changed the past few months so with covid19 could some of that spirit be silenced the Ihsaa has a detailed game plan to get back on the field safely for us to have a triumphant return to fall sports.
We have to have a better summer and we've had a good summer our numbers are starting to flatten, we're starting to you know our cases are getting better the three-phase plan to return to the sport starts July 6th conditioning in small groups just like at gyms right now phase 2 has teams officially back at practice July 20th then by august it's back to the normal competition it's pretty difficult to play tackle football without contact so the title football is going to look like tackle football.
We're not going to modify the rules of the game but he says the phases of this plan could be modified if covid19 numbers go up as for fans and families right now today as we talk there aren't going to be numbers limitations with crowds at that point in time, if we continue to plant with the rollout we're at right now some venues may choose to social distance and you could see a change of the concession stand packaged foods instead of hot dogs and popcorn some of our members are considering cashless environments, where we're not exchanging money you've got to show up with a debit card or a credit card to buy anything or even to get into the contest but as of now those contests this fall are game on
